Depending on the Anesthesiology Assistant program you are interested in, they may accept either the GRE or MCAT for admission. ***Please check the official website of the program you are interested in to make sure you are meeting their requirements for admission.***
MCAT
Content tested on the MCAT includes the categories for testing: Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems Section, Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems Section, Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior Section, Scientific Inquiry & Reasoning Skills, Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills Section. Students are recommended to take the MCAT in the spring (March/April) of their third year. Below, we have a course list for preparing for the MCAT and test registration.

GRE Resources
The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is the standard entrance exam for many different graduate and professional programs.
