The Health Professions Pathways program brings together pre-health students and mentors to build a community focused on supporting all UT students in putting together their best application for pre-health professional programs. These seminars are open to all UT students pursuing all health careers and focus on building:
- Professional competencies that are sought after by professional programs and employers
- Pre-health portfolio
- Confidence in critical analysis and situational judgment
- A support system of peers and mentors
- The most competitive application
The Health Professions Pathways program includes three 1-hour credit seminars that are meant to guide students from their first year of college through their year of application:

To gain the most benefit, students are encouraged to take all three seminars in sequence as outlined. Students pursuing the Pre-Health Professionals Certificate are required to take two of the seminars.

Students should work with their academic advisor and the Health Professions Office to make an academic plan that incorporates coursework for the certificate as well as professional school academic and extracurricular requirements.
